Can I register my domain name?
We can register the domain name for you, individual or company. However, only Hong Kong companies or organisations can register .com.hk/.org.hk/.net.hk/.edu.hk domains.

How much do I pay for the domain name?
Registration fee is HK$100 or US$15 per year for a .com domain.

What is Web Hosting?
Once you have your own domain name, we may publish your web site onto internet. Rather than setting your own web server, you can host your web site to an ISP or web hosting company. This service is called Web Hosting.

Can I transfer my domain name/web page to here?
Yes, you can. As long as the domain name is registered by you, you can transfer it to here.

Can I transfer my domain name/web page to other hosting company?
Yes, you can. As long as the domain name is owned by you, you can transfer it to other hosting company.

Can I use your DNS only?
Yes, you can. DNS Hosting is free for our members who registered domain names through us. For non-members, we will charge HK$50 per year (or US$9 per year) .

I will transfer my webhosting to here. What should I do?
You should modify your dns record on your domain registration company website to our dns
    ns1.thebighost.com
    ns2.thebighost.com
And then sign up at our website.

What are your mail server settings?
Incoming mail (POP3) Server: mail.thebighost.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) Server: (SMTP service not available, use your ISP SMTP Server please)

How can I check email via web?
You may enter the web mail from our web page or from your web page.

No spam emails are allowed. Otherwise, email accounts will be suspended without notice.

Are there any restrictions on file storage and my webpage content?
Illegal, copyrighted and adult materials/files should not be linked/stored in any format on the server. Heavy loaded scripts, such as chatroom scripts, should not be used. Those files and scripts will be deleted without notices and warnings.

Can I host my free domain name from NO-IP.COM?
Yes, you can but some functions may not work, e.g. subdomain and email. It depends on your free domain name providers.
